Terms and Conditions for Car Rental Bookings
Last updated:
These terms apply to every car rental, chauffeur-driven hire, wedding car hire and airport delivery that you book through supercardriveclub.com. They explain how a booking is made, what you pay, what happens if plans change, and what we expect from you behind the wheel.
They are written for private and business clients who rent from Super Car Drive Club in France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Monaco, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. The card below sums up the key points. The full terms follow it, and the written quote you receive for your booking forms part of the agreement.

Who are we and what do these terms cover?
The website supercardriveclub.com is operated under the brand Super Car Drive Club. We are a European luxury car rental platform that brings together premium, sports and supercar options across many destinations. Your rental is performed with the local rental partner in the city you choose, and we handle your enquiry, quote and booking confirmation.
We do not publish a company registration number, VAT number or street address on the website. You can reach us for any booking question at [email protected], or by phone or WhatsApp using the contact details on the site.
These terms cover vehicle rental, chauffeur-driven hire, wedding car hire and airport delivery. If your written quote says something different from these terms for your specific booking, the quote prevails for that point.
How does an enquiry become a confirmed booking?
Nothing on the website is a binding offer. The car list, day rates and availability shown are for guidance. You send an enquiry through the form, or contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, and we reply with a written quote for your dates, cars and locations.
A booking exists only when we confirm it in writing after you accept the quote. Until then, the car is not reserved for you and either side may walk away without cost.
When your booking is confirmed, we share the details needed to perform the service with the local partner in your chosen city. Please check the confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if anything is wrong, such as a name, date, location or flight number for an airport delivery.
What do the prices include, and how do you pay?
Your written quote states the price, what is included, and when payment is due. Prices are quoted in euros unless the quote says otherwise. The day rates on the website are starting points and the final price depends on the car, dates, location and any extras such as chauffeur service, wedding styling or airport delivery.
Bookings are not paid online on the website. Payment instructions come with your quote, and we confirm the booking in writing.
Included in every rental, as stated in your quote:
- Insurance as described in the quote
- 200 km per day
- The handover and return arrangements agreed in the quote
At handover, a refundable security deposit is held on a credit card in the main driver's name. The amount runs from €1,500 to €250,000 depending on the car, and your quote states the exact figure. It is released within 21 days after return, once fines and tolls have been checked. Please make sure your card limit covers the deposit. If the deposit cannot be held, we may refuse to hand over the car, and the cancellation rules below then apply.
Can you cancel or change your booking?
The 14-day right of withdrawal that normally applies to distance contracts does not apply here. Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l)), the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services, such as car rental, booked for a specific date. Your booking is therefore binding once we confirm it in writing.
Instead, we offer a voluntary cancellation policy:
- Free cancellation up to 72 hours before pickup
- Within 72 hours of pickup, 50% of the booking value is charged
- No refund for no-shows
To cancel, write to [email protected]. The time of your written message counts, so please do not rely on a voicemail.
If you want to change dates, the car or locations, ask us in writing. We will tell you whether it is possible and whether the price changes. A change is only valid once we confirm it in writing, and if we cannot offer the change, your original booking and the cancellation rules above remain in place.
When might we cancel or change your booking?
We may cancel or change a booking, or the way it is delivered, when it is not safe or not possible to go ahead. This covers:
- Weather conditions that make driving unsafe, including storms, flooding, snow or ice
- A safety concern with the car or the planned route
- A technical issue with the car that cannot be fixed in time
- Force majeure, meaning events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, road or airport closures, strikes, official restrictions, war or unrest
We will tell you as soon as we can. We will offer you a comparable car or a new date where possible. If that does not suit you, or we cannot offer one, we refund what you have paid for the cancelled service in full.
We are not liable for other costs arising from such a cancellation, such as travel or accommodation costs, unless the law says otherwise. Please also see the section on liability.
Who can drive, and what do you need at handover?
The minimum driver age is 25, with at least 3 years of licence, for all vehicles. Every driver must be named in the booking, and only named drivers may drive.
At handover, the main driver must show:
- A valid driving licence
- A passport or ID
- A credit card in the main driver's name
An International Driving Permit may be required for non-EU licences. Please check this with us before you travel, because we cannot hand over a car if the documents are missing or do not match the booking. In that case, the booking is treated as a no-show.
For chauffeur-driven hire, our driver operates the car and these requirements apply to you as the booking client only for the deposit and identification.
How do handover, return, fuel, mileage, fines and tolls work?
We hand over the car at the place and time stated in the quote, whether at a local partner's location, a hotel or an airport. Before you drive away, we check the car together and record its condition and fuel level. Please report anything you notice at that point. For airport delivery, keep your flight number accurate, and tell us promptly if your flight changes.
Return the car at the agreed place and time, clean enough for inspection, with all keys and documents. We check the car again with you on return.
Mileage: 200 km per day is included. Extra kilometres are charged at the rate stated in the quote.
Fuel: return the car with the same fuel level as at handover. Missing fuel is charged at cost plus a refuelling service fee.
Traffic fines, tolls and parking charges during the rental are your responsibility. If an authority sends them to us or to the local partner, we pass them on to you with an administrative fee, and the details of the offence may be given to the authority. This is why the deposit is released only after fines and tolls are checked.
What happens if the car is damaged, and what is not allowed?
Insurance is included as stated in your quote. If the car is damaged and you are at fault, you are liable for the excess. Tell us immediately about any accident, theft or damage, and do not admit liability to anyone else. In serious cases, call the police and send us the report. We may retain part or all of the security deposit to cover the excess and any other costs you owe under these terms.
Certain things need our prior written approval:
- Driving abroad, meaning outside the country of the rental
- Track days
- Off-road driving
If you do any of these without approval, insurance cover may not apply and you may be liable for the full cost of resulting damage.
In addition, smoking and pets are not allowed in the cars. You must also not use the car for any unlawful purpose, to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, for racing or speed tests outside an approved track day, to tow, or to let an unnamed person drive. We may end the rental and recover the car if you break these rules, without any refund.
How far does our liability go, and how do you make a complaint?
We are responsible for providing the car and service we confirmed. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost plans, missed events or lost business, nor for personal belongings left in the car. For business clients, our liability is limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable when the booking was confirmed.
If something goes wrong, tell the local team at the time so they can fix it on the spot. If you are still not satisfied, write to [email protected] with your booking details and a description of the issue. We will look into it, reply in writing and, where appropriate, propose a remedy.
What about the website, governing law and changes to these terms?
The text, photos, car descriptions and design on supercardriveclub.com belong to us or our partners. You may view them for planning your rental, but you may not copy, resell or use them commercially without our written permission. Please do not misuse the enquiry form or try to interfere with the website. Car details and availability can change, and we do not guarantee that the site is always free of errors or interruptions.
These terms and any rental or charter are governed by the law of the country where the rental or charter is performed, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts that the law gives you.
We may update these terms. The version published on the website when we confirm your booking applies to that booking, and later changes do not alter a booking already confirmed. If a part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force.
