Mahón and Es Castell harbour front. Menorca's yachting hub sits along a long natural harbour, so the waterfront road is a relaxed place to settle into a premium car. Evenings suit a car you enjoy being seen in. Old-town streets are tight, so park outside the centre and walk the last stretch.
Binibeca and Sant Lluís, southeast. A short, calm drive from Mahón, this corner suits a late-morning cruise before lunch. Village roads are narrow, so a convertible or compact sports car is easier here than a wide-bodied model.
Es Mercadal and Monte Toro. Menorca's central road crosses the island and links the harbour in the east with the coast in the west. It is an easy route for a grand tourer. Allow time at the summit of Monte Toro for the view over the island.
Fornells and the north coast. The north is more exposed and rugged than the south. Plan a lunch stop at Fornells, then continue towards Cap de Cavalleria for open coastal scenery. Daylight is best for this drive.
Ciutadella and the southwest calas. Ciutadella's old port suits an evening dinner, while Cala Galdana and Cala Macarella suit a morning visit. In summer the beach car parks fill, so arrive early and plan to walk the final section to the sand.
