Athens Riviera: Glyfada to Vouliagmeni. The coastal road south of the city suits a low, powerful car best in the morning or at dusk, when traffic eases. Choose a marina-side restaurant or beach club with easy arrival, and check parking before you commit to a long lunch.
Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. A natural finish to the coast drive. The temple is most atmospheric near sunset, so plan the return after dark with care. Wide, fast sections reward a grand tourer more than a stiff track-focused car.
Mount Parnitha. Forested bends and cooler air just north of the city, good for a driver's half-day away from the urban grid. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable seasons. Keep the pace measured on tight corners and watch for cyclists.
Corinth Canal and Nafplio. The Peloponnese run for a full day: the canal first, then Nafplio's old town. Start early, fuel up before leaving the main motorway and park outside the pedestrian centre rather than inside it.
Piraeus and Alimos Marina. Useful for waterfront dinners and for guests joining a yacht or boat day. The Saronic islands are reached by sea from here, and Hydra is car-free, so plan the car around the mainland leg of the trip.
